The support staff of Coastal Carolina Foot and Ankle Associates is well trained in the practices and modalities of the podiatric field. The front staff is warm and friendly, with a very knowledgeable grasp of today's medical insurances and their ever changing rules and regulations. Our medical support staff is constantly upgrading their skills as new techniques become available, from taking x-rays, performing diagnostic tests and assisting in state of the art wound care, all under the supervision of the physicians. Each team member attends continuing educational classes as it pertains to their field, all to provide you with the best care.

 

Jeffrey Bruce Pupp, DPM

Dr. Pupp has been a practicing podiatric surgeon since 1981. He currently resides in Wilmington, NC with his family. Dr. Pupp, a native of Pennsylvania, completed his undergraduate studies at Bloomsburg State University, PA. He attended Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine for his graduate studies and completed a three year program for his internship and residency at Kern Hospital & Medical Center in MI. Dr. Pupp received his Board Certification from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot & Ankle Surgery in 1986. He left a group practice in Michigan and moved to North Carolina in 1988 to open a private practice. He and his partner now operate a busy practice with three locations. His clinical interests have a strong emphasis in wound care and the surgical correction of all foot deformities, including the revision of failed surgeries.

 

Kevin Gregory Bachman, DPM

Dr. Bachman was born in Bethesda, MD and raised in Wilmington, NC. He attended Duke University, NC for his undergraduate studies and completed his graduate studies at William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, IL. Following his internship and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX he chose to remain close to his roots and now resides in Wilmington with his family. Dr. Bachman joined Coastal Carolina Foot and Ankle Associates in 2001, became Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 2004. He has been a vital force in the growth of the practice as it has expanded to include three locations. His clinical interests are focused on pediatrics, dermatology, complications resulting from diabetes along with advanced surgical techniques for the correction of all foot deformities.
